Privacy policy
GoFrontage, operated by Clean and Green Lifestyle Pty Ltd (ABN 93 166 779 200).
Last updated: 16 June 2026
This policy explains how we handle personal information in GoFrontage. We are committed to handling personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Two kinds of personal information move through GoFrontage. The first is information about you, the account holder — we handle this as the responsible entity. The second is information about your tenants and contacts that you upload — for that information you decide what is collected and why, and we handle it on your behalf as your service provider. This policy explains both.
1Who we are
GoFrontage is operated by Clean and Green Lifestyle Pty Ltd, ABN 93 166 779 200, of 13 Nuban St, Currumbin QLD 4223, Australia. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@gofrontage.com.
2Personal information we collect
About account holders (you)
- your name, business name, email address, and any phone number you give us;
- billing information you provide to subscribe (card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by us — see below);
- sign-in and security records, such as one-time link requests, session activity, IP address, and browser type; and
- support messages and feedback you send us.
About your tenants and contacts (uploaded by you)
When you use GoFrontage you upload and store personal information about other people — typically your tenants. This can include their names, contact details, lease details, meter readings, maintenance and repair details, and uploaded documents (such as certificates of currency). You provide this information; we store and process it for you so you can manage your tenancies.
If a tenant uses their portal link, we may also collect what they submit — meter readings, uploaded files, and basic technical data needed to deliver and secure the portal.
3How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you sign up, subscribe, and use the service; from your tenants when they use a portal link you send them; and automatically through standard technical logs needed to run and secure the service. We use only the cookies and similar tokens needed for sign-in, security, and basic operation — GoFrontage is not an advertising business and we do not sell personal information.
4Why we use it
- to provide GoFrontage — store your leases and documents, send key-date reminders, chase insurance certificates, collect meter readings, send tenant communications you trigger, and generate invoices as records;
- to manage your account, subscription, and billing;
- to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations;
- to provide support and respond to your enquiries; and
- to send you essential service messages, and — only where permitted — occasional product updates you can opt out of.
We do not use your data or your tenants' data to train third-party advertising or unrelated machine-learning models.
5Roles — who is responsible for what
For information about you (the account holder), we are the entity responsible under the Privacy Act.
For information about your tenants and contacts that you upload, you decide what is collected and how it is used; we handle it on your behalf and under your instructions, as your service provider. That means:
- you are responsible for having the right to collect and upload that information, and for telling your tenants about it as your own privacy obligations require;
- we will only use that information to provide the service to you, not for our own separate purposes; and
- if a tenant contacts us directly about their information, we will generally refer them to you as the entity that holds it, unless the law requires us to respond.
6Who we share it with — third-party processors
We use a small number of trusted providers to run GoFrontage. They may handle personal information only to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security obligations:
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, file storage, and security. Data may be processed on Cloudflare's global network.
- Stripe — subscription payments. Stripe handles your card details directly as a PCI-DSS-compliant processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Resend — sending transactional and tenant email on our behalf.
- Mobile Message — sending SMS notices to tenants when you use the SMS add-on.
We may also disclose personal information where the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a business sale or restructure (in which case it stays subject to protections at least equivalent to this policy). We do not sell personal information.
7Overseas disclosure
Some of our providers (such as Cloudflare, Stripe, and Resend) operate globally, so personal information may be stored or processed outside Australia — for example, in the United States or other countries where these providers run infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to ensure our providers handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. By using GoFrontage you acknowledge this overseas handling.
8Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, including:
- encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest with our infrastructure providers;
- passwordless sign-in by one-time email link, with rate limiting and a human check on the sign-in form;
- access controls so each organisation can only see its own data, and team roles that limit what members can do;
- uploaded files validated by content type and size before they are stored; and
- tenant portals secured by unguessable, revocable links rather than shared passwords.
No system is perfectly secure. You also play a part — keep your sign-in email secure, send portal links only to the right people, and tell us promptly if you suspect a problem.
9Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations. While your account is active, your data stays available to you. When you delete a record it is removed from active use. When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify your organisation's data — including your tenants' data — within a reasonable period (generally within 30 days), except where we must retain limited records (for example, billing and tax records) to meet legal obligations. Backups are cycled out on a rolling basis.
10Accessing and correcting your information
You can access and update most of your information directly in the app, and export your data at any time while your account is active. You can ask us to access or correct personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@gofrontage.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are a tenant asking about information held in GoFrontage, please contact the landlord who manages your tenancy, as they decide what is held; you may also contact us and we will help direct your request.
11Data breaches
We have processes to detect, assess, and respond to data breaches. If a breach is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act. Where the breach involves your tenants' data, we will work with you so you can meet your own notification obligations.
12Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, contact us first at hello@gofrontage.com and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will give you reasonable notice (for example, by email or in the app). The "last updated" date at the top shows when this version took effect.
